John Bradford retired from the Commonwealth Parliament of Australia in 1998 after serving as an MP for nine years. With his wife Judy and their three children, they then embarked on five years of overseas missionary service. This included Mongolia, the U.S. and the United Kingdom where John had the responsibility of leadership in a major Christian medical charity which focused on Central America and West Africa.
Returning to Australia's Gold Coast in 2004, John was appointed Mission Development Director for the Bible Society Australia (Queensland) where he had responsibility for major donor development. Until February 2008 he also broadcast regularly on a community radio station as a political commentator.
John is highly regarded as a public speaker, communicator and motivator. He has been successful in conducting negotiations in complex and sensitive situations and brings real life insight and experience to his workshop presentations. John was licensed in September 2008 as an instructor in the Management Buckets seminar |
In this jam-packed and highly interactive one-day seminar you'll explore in detail 10 key competencies, drawn from John Pearson's '20 Management Buckets' (see list at left). All attendees receive a binder with nearly 200 pages of tools, forms, worksheets, notes and more. (The book is also available to delegates at a discounted price).
In light of the current global financial crisis, we'll be taking a few opportunities throughout the seminar to focus on implications and strategies for navigating a rocky period ahead.
You'll come away with dozens of practical tools and ideas to implement straight away. Learn about
- delegating your reading so that your team is on top of what's current and important;
- how to measure outside results, not just internal results;
- feeding your strongest programs and benchmarking the others;
- how individuals' social styles affect their team contributions;
- involving team members in defining your culture;
- creating a God-honoring funding plan;
- how a brief weekly meeting template can revolutionise your team communication;
- much, much more!
