CMA Founding Members

CMA came into existence as a ministry of Evangelical Alliance in 2001. We formed with a vision to help churches and Christian organisations become more effective in fulfilling their mission. We commenced public operations in 2002, and hosted our first conference in 2003.

CMA's initial start-up funding was a grant from Evangelical Alliance, and a two-stage grant from Evangelical Christian Credit Union in the USA. We then began seeking donations of $1000 or more from 'Founding Members'. Founding Members was the term chosen to describe the individuals or organisations who believed in our mission, recognised the potential of an organisation like CMA, and wanted to help provide the support to get CMA started. We have always had lots of ideas, and a vision for effective ministry, but without the financial and moral support of the Founding Members, CMA would not exist today.

CMA's founding period was officially closed on 30 June 2010. CMA Founding Members, as at 30 June 2010, will be recognised in perpetuity as the individuals and organisations who helped bring CMA into existence.
