COVID-19 Update - Conference now online only!

The CMA Conference program now extends from 13 to 23 September. The original two days (13th & 14th) will still take place largely as planned, with the plenary sessions, special features and electives listed below, but there will not be any simultaneous electives. Instead, those electives that WOULD have run simultaneously are now spread over 15-23 September.

CMA Dialogues - By Invitation

Given that delegates will be missing out on the in-person networking, in response to a number of queries we're excited to announce six CMA Dialogues, taking place in the week beginning 4th October. These dialogues are two-and-a-half hour virtual round-table discussions for people in similar roles. Each dialogue will be capped to a maximum of 20 participants, and instead of presentations, the dialogues will be facilitated peer conversations, based on an agenda formed the week prior by those attending.

Note that you will need to strictly meet the eligibility criteria to participate in a dialogue, so you need to request an invitation. You can't just turn up. Dialogues will not be recorded. If you meet the criteria for one of the dialogues and wish to attend, please contact CMA.

  • Staff of a church or ministry, or other HR professionals, whose role entails a HR / People management specialisation for at least two days per week
  • By HR management we mean the development / strategy / execution of HR, not (for example) data entry or administrative support for HR personnel..
    * At CMA's discreation, we may invite people to participate in a dialogue who do not strictly meet the criteria, but whose inclusion we believe would be beneficial for the other attendees.
