Sometimes CEOs need to be able to talk, frankly, with people who know what it's like in their shoes - other CEOs. WIth no board members, staff or audio recording present, valuable and sometimes personal conversations allow ministry leaders to glean what can't be picked up in books or seminars: how others deal with the unique challenges of being in the top job.
If you're the top staff position in a ministry (ie answerable directly to the board), or if you're the senior pastor of a church, these mornings may be just what you need.
Responses from the final forum in 2009 indicated that people would like to explore the topic of 'Shared Services'. For this reason, we have invited Paul Steele (see his LinkedIn profile here) who has some real-world experience in this topic, to join us as a guest. Philip Hunt will be facilitating the morning, Paul will be speaking to the topic of shared services, and two other topics will be addressed, based on a pre-event survey of those registered.
NOTE: This Dialogue is usually restricted to the CEOs of larger organisations, however on this occasion, due to the relevance of the topic, the CEOs of any sized ministries are welcome to attend, however numbers will be capped at 20 so please register early to secure your seat.
Note future dates for CEO Dialogues are 11th May (all day), 19th August (morning), 17th November (morning). |
