Being a CEO or Senior Pastor of a large ministry or church is a huge challenge. Peter Drucker once said that in his opinion, the senior pastor of a multi-staff church was the hardest management role in the world. So where do ministry CEOs go to discuss, confidentially, the challenges of being in the top seat, and share insights and learn from others' experiences?
CMA's CEO Dialogues provide such a forum. These dialogues, limited to a maximum of 25 CEOs, provide a facilitated discussion, with an agenda built beforehand by the participants. Bring along your toughest questions, and the issues you'd really like to see a breakthrough in. Over the course of the day, you'll discover what a room full of experienced Christian leaders with a competent, experienced facilitator, can achieve.
CMA has previously run CEO Dialogues successfully around the country, and in 2009 again offers these interactive forums to provide an unequalled peer-learning environment. CMA's unique community of church, ministry and business leaders means that with a diverse audience, you don't just hear the usual answers from your niche - you may be surprised (and blessed!) to hear how Christian leaders from different sectors address related issues.
The Melbourne Dialogue, on 31 March 2009, is being facilitated by Philip Hunt, former CEO of World Vision Australia and Hong Kong, and current CEO of VicRelief Foodbank. Participation is strictly limited to CEO's or Senior Pastors (i.e. the top staff position that reports direct to the board). Further, to ensure that size disparities don't strangle the discussion, participation in the Melbourne Dialogue is being limited to CEOs of organisations with an annual budget greater than $1 million. Places are strictly limited to 25, so get your registration in early, and secure a fantastic day of inspiration, networking, and straight shooting.” |
