Dr Gary Hoag President & CEO, Global Trust Partners (USA)
Steve Kerr Executive Director, CMA Standards Council (Australia)

A prominent international expert recently commented that around the world, we are beginning to see the convergence of the Generosity Movement and the Accountability Movement in the Christian sector.

Right at the intersection of these two movements is Dr Gary Hoag: Biblical Scholar, author, and now President and CEO of the newly formed Global Trust Partners (GTP). Having been formed out of ECFA (Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability) in the USA, GTP is now working with a rapidly growing family of ministry partners in Australia, Egypt, Philippines, Guatemala, Switzerland, South Korea, India and Africa, whose purpose is lifting the standards of governance, transparency and accountability in Christian churches, schools and ministries. God is at work globally in a tremendously exciting fashion!

Gary Hoag is visiting NZ in September, en route to a series of Ministry Governance conferences in Australia. Travelling and speaking with Gary Hoag will be Steve Kerr, the Executive Director of the CMA Standards Council in Australia. Gary Williams, founder and National Director of CMA in Australia, will also be joining them. Together, they will give some biblical teaching and practical application on the topics of governance, generosity and accountability, and how this relates to a country’s formal regulatory systems.

They will also begin an exploration of whether there is a hunger in NZ for the kind of ministry governance and accountability partner that is emerging in numerous countries, and that has taken a solid root in Australia over the last couple of years.

Designed for church and ministry leaders and board members, as well as legal and financial professionals interested in charity regulation, we invite you to join us for an inspiring and informative session, hearing what God is up to around the world in strengthening and supporting Christian ministry. Wellington and Christchurch events include breakfast, and will be an 'Executive Summary' of the longer Auckland session. The Auckland seminar includes morning tea and lunch.
