CMA Leaders Scholarship 2012
Jesus left his church with a great commandment, and a great commission. In the 21st century, one of the primary structures we use to live out our obedience to Jesus' teaching is that of Christian organisations. Whether a single local congregation, a formal gathering of congregations, or a dedicated agency with a Christian mission at its core, organisations are effective ways of multiplying the effort of Christian individuals. And effective organisations need effective leaders, at every level.
Christian leadership is part character, part gifting, and part science. Many of the skills and attributes that are required of an effective leader can be taught, and learned. The CMA Leaders Scholarship has been established to provide opportunities for ministry leaders to access world-class training. We want to see the very best organisational knowledge and skills available being applied to the furtherance of the Gospel!
In 2012, scholarships to the value of up to $200,000 will be awarded to Christian men and women from Australia who could make an even bigger contribution to their organisation's mission by being better equipped.
The links on this page provide the criteria which the selection panel will be using to evaluate applications, as well as Application processes, conditions, and general information.
If you meet the criteria, if you believe that some serious leadership training could help you and your organisation better achieve its Christian mission, and if you're prepared to share what you learn with the wider CMA community when you're finished, then we encourage you to apply for a CMA Scholarship. Applications close on 24th February 2012. |
